Net Points

Net Points is a simple metric, originally associated with ESPN's tracking systems, that estimates the net point impact of a player's contributions: points scored plus points created for teammates minus points allowed through turnovers and poor shot selection.

Not used in APEX. A simplified possession-accounting metric without opponent quality adjustment or positional context. Superseded by BPM and RAPM-family estimators.
