Personal Foul Efficiency

Personal Foul Efficiency attempts to measure how well a player manages their foul situation — are their fouls drawn in high-leverage situations or wasted on uncontested plays? Some implementations compare fouls drawn per possession to fouls committed per possession.

Not used in APEX as a standalone metric. Foul-drawing ability is partially captured through FTA/FGA (free throw attempt rate), which APEX uses in the Scoring pillar as a shot-creation proxy. The distinction between "efficient" and "inefficient" fouls is an interesting concept but lacks a robust public metric with peer-reviewed validation.
