Original 20-year naming deal with Indianapolis-based Conseco (insurance). Conseco filed for bankruptcy in 2002 but the venue retained the name post-restructuring.

Conseco rebranded its parent company as CNO Financial; the venue was renamed to Bankers Life (a CNO insurance subsidiary).
