Efficiency / Offensive NOT USED (principle applied via TS%)

Points Per Possession (PPP)

PPP measures the average points scored per offensive possession. It is one of the most direct measures of offensive efficiency, normalizing for pace.

PPP = Points Scored ÷ Total Offensive Possessions

Very direct measure of offensive efficiency at the team or player level. Pace-neutral. Used extensively in half-court vs. transition breakdowns.

Not scored directly. TS% captures per-possession scoring efficiency from the individual player perspective. PPP is more useful at the team or lineup level. The principle is embedded in APEX's design through TS% and the RAPM-family Impact pillar.
